There are many reasons why these work so well for so many people but the choice is up to you! If reducing wind noise while driving and having fresh air is important, I would grab a set. If you like letting fresh air in while it’s raining, you should grab them. If you are the smoking or vaping type, they are a must. These are not for everyone, but I like them. Rain Guards and Window Deflectors (Are they for you?) Having a set of these on the trail a huge benefit when you are exploring nature in so-so weather. Most importantly so you can breath fresh air and not have your cabin be so stuffy, also fresh air keeps your windows clear. When you are on-road or off-road and it’s raining or snowing, you still need some fresh air. The important thing for most owners is keeping the rain out. There is a reason why Auto Ventshade (AVS) has the most reviews, the highest reviews, and the most uploads of 4Runners. While some of these companies make decent rain guards, the majority sticks with AVS. There are plenty of options out there but the one we are talking about with the link above is probably the best. The Ventvisors have not budged a 1/4 inch. ![]() As I said, it has been three years and they have sat in the same place this entire time. Incredibly easy, just like the emblem kit. All you do is peel off the 3M backing and slap them on. Easy to InstallĪVS has designed these to be added in minutes. I have had these on the 5th Gen Trail 4Runner for a little over three years now and there is absolutely not one complaint. Made in the USA and backed by a lifetime warranty, this product is sure to last the weather at hand. The AVS low profile Ventvisor is the go-to in our community. Although this is an incredibly simple mod, it does serve its purpose. Low profile is just about the complete vision of my entire 4Runner, so this fits right in. What I like about this particular set is that they are an incredibly low profile set-up. They also call this thing a Ventvisor? I have never called it that but to each their own Low Profile Rain Guards and Window Deflectors
